The word arcana means "profound secrets." The Tarot deck with 78 cards is divided into 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana cards. The major arcana is related to archetypes relating to general physic powers. To get into touch with ones subconscious mind the Tarot is helpful. However, there are many other ways, as for example analysing your dreams over a longer period etc.

I have put the different meanings of the cards into lists so you can select what kind of meaning that seems most appropriate for the actual question. Finally, there is the tricky part of trying to make sence of it all.
