Susan Flannery was born on the 31th of July in the year of 1943 in New York ,USA.
Her parents originally came from Ireland but moved to USA where Susan was born.
Susan has no siblings.
Since early years Susan has been interestedin the art of acting and she always knew as a child that she wanted to work with acting and become and actress. Susan is a wery artistic person and she loves to draw ,sketch ,design things and paint. Especially daisys . She also has an intrest of makeing needle works.
Among painting and the artistic interests ,she has lots of other interests ,she is a licensed pilot -and she love to fly -but nowdays she doesn´t fly herself ,she has taken up sailing instead.
She also loves to travel and do so as often as she can.
Another big interest of hers is her passion for cooking ,she is actullay a great gourmet chef. Both an artist with pencil and colors and in the kitchen.
She loves to spend time with her firends and
loved ones and she oftenly invites them over to pizza partys in her house.
And as I said she enjoys traveling and she recently went down to Australia to visit her only child ,her daughter Blaise, who lives and study in Australia ,she goes to university.
Education -Career
Susan received her BFA at Stevens Collage Missouri
and attended graduate school in Arizona State before arriving in Hollywood. She was discovered by pruducer
Irwin Allen and made her debute in Voyage on The Bottom Of
The Sea , shortly thereafter she was offered the role as Dr
Laura Horton on Days Of Our Lives. A role that gave her an Emmy Awards during her eight years stint.
Susan Flannery was also cast as Robert Wagners secretary and lover in Allen´s epic disaster (The Towering Inferno)
She got rewarded with a Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Acting Debut in Motion Picture . Addionaly she received an Emmy Nomination for the NBC mini-series The Money Changers ,and she also appeared in the televisionmovies Women In White as (Rebecca Dalton)
and Anatomy Of Seduction.¨
In 1981,she did a ten week stint as a devious highpowered public relation consultant in conflict with JR Ewing on Dallas. Than as Leslie Stewart. In February 2006 ,Susan received another Daytime Emmy Nomination for her role as Stephanie Forrester on (The Bold and The Beautiful) in 2000, 2002, 2003 in the same category as in 1975 for her role in (Days of Our Lives).
Offscreen Susan produced cable Soap NEW DAY IN EDEN with Michael Jaffe . In addition she served as director on The Bold and The Beautiful and in 1995 she was nominated for Directors Guild Award her her directing work in the series.
