This is my lovely rat Iksa,
my first good beige rat.
She was born in the test mating
litter in the summer of 1998.
Beige
Overall impression: To be an even and warm beige colour without tinges, white hairs or spots. Colour to be carried down the skin. Belly colour not to be ligher than top colour.
Feet: To conform with top colour.
Eye colour: Black.
Other name/s: Dark Eyed Champagne, Magnolia (TRV),
Buff (NFRS) and Dove.
Genetics: (aarr).
Known since: Guidestandard 1991 (not in standards in the
NFRS).
A Runatun Beige.
This is my beloved pet Ippe, my first beige rat.
Normal Swedish beige rats are (or at least should be) darker in colour.
Two different nuances of Beige.
These are from my Iu-litter.
Two different versions of beige, one light and one dark rex (and one fawn).
Most Swedish beige rats are the light colour.
