Silvered rats are rats with many white hairs in their fur, 50 % white hairs and 50 % coloured hairs are ideal. Genetically only Mink are silvered, since the Pearl gene is used to create the silvering. Usually the white hairs are coloured at the tips. These silver colours can be created without white markings. Probably Silver Blue might be created the same way as Silver Mink.

If you instead use the Husky/Roan gene you can also create Silver Black and Silver Chocolate, but these rats will be heavily marked.

Note that almost all rats, all varieties, in Sweden suffer from a low grade of silvering that is a fault, but in some Swedish are showed as silvered varieties... The only variety I know of so far without this disturbing fault is the German Blue.
