Nicke was an English Blue male, that came out of a mating between two littermates from my Ik-litter, Aristoteles Ikerel, black berkshire, and Aristoteles Ikini, black berkshire. We had been inbreeding on the line that Bonita came from (Ikerel and Ikini's mother several years and seen no English Blue rats. So maybe this gene came from El Toro, their father. Nicke was born in November or December 1999.
I didn't breed Ikerel and Ikini, so Nicke was not from any of my litters. Actually I don't even know what littermates he had, what coloursthey were, or anything like that. What I do know is that Nicke turned aggressive, so I had to put him to sleep, and he was the second of my own rats (I got him as a pet) that I had put to sleep due to aggression ever. The first one was sometime around 1990, so in ten years of breeding rats I only had two rats that was put to sleep due to aggression, and my standards when it comes to temper are very high.
