Kifuno was a one of several rats I got from a snake owner that had wonderful rats that came originally from Runatun Stud. I got some in February 1999, and the photo shows some of those. The best thing with these rats was their very good temper. Kifuno is the rat baby in the front of the photo.

The rats I got were among others Kifuno, and his fawn rex brother that was sold a rat breeder, but was killed by aggressive rats in his new home. Kifuno was a black irish rex, carrying German Blue. Kifuno was born the 17th of January or close to that date. He was always a very small rat, and I found him dead in the cage on the 26th of December 2000. Kifuno was a very gentle rat.

The photo to the right shows Kifuno and My Max, two of the rats I got from the snake owner.

One strange thing about Kifuno was that most rat breeders that saw him at the time called his colour "Graphite" because that's how the first german Blue rats that ever was imported to Sweden looked like... Meaning they only imported carriers opf the German Blue gene, not German Blue rats. So they named the colour of those precious carriers "Graphite", and the name has stuck since, but was transferred to the real German Blue rats.

This photo of Kifuno was taken on the 7th of October 2000.
