Runatun Itzumi, was born on the 2nd of March 1998. He was a chocolate based version of silver fawn rex. Itzumi's mother was Runatun Amma, and his father was Runatun Mercurius.
I was given Amma and her whole litter (Itzumi and his littermates) when Itzumi was 2 weeks old. She was the nicest rat, moving with all her 2 week old babies she had no problem adjusting to her new home whatsoever. She was just the sweetest rat with so sweet babies.
In the photo to the right you can see both Itzumi, who is a chocolate based silver fawn rex, and a black based silver fawn rex littermate. You can clearly see that Itzumi is more orange in colour and that his littermate has a more "dirty" colour. So it is easy to see which is which already when the rat is just a small baby.
Itzumi had some strange coloured littermates, Runatun Qum and Runatun Qrusbär were both pale lilac, a colour known from the mouse. And there was a german blue based silver, Runatun Qvanta. Also there were other colours we weren't absolutely sure what it was. And of course there were some black based silver fawns.
Mercurius was the black based version of silver fawn, with blue undercolour and yellow tummy.
