Wistar is a strain of laboratory rats that I really love. One reason I like Wistar so much is that they are all albinos and my second favourite colour in rats is albino. My absolute favourite colour is silver fawn. Also I love them so much because I know them so well. They don't have any sign of the temper problems that is so common in the pet rat population, instead they may be re-tamed if they ever show any kind of unwanted behaviour.
I do believe Iste was my fourth Wistar male, after Snow-White, Ixy & Ixus. I had also had two Wistar females, Silver & Busan.
One fun thing with Wistar males is the way they wiggle when they walk.
