Aristoteles Io-litter was born on the 11th of September 1999 and consisted of four babies. Their father was Aristoteles Ihaste and their mother was Aristoteles Ihse.
Since I had both the German Blue gene and good temper I had a lot of pressure on me to produce nice German Blue rats for other breeders, so I did once mate two German Blue Agouties that were littermates, Aristoteles Ihaste and Aristoteles Ihse. They had a litter consisting of only four babies (inbreeding reduces litter size) and one of the babies were just gone when they were five days old, so then they were only three babies. The babies were two German Blue females, Aristoteles Ioba and Aristoteles Iossa, and a rather sickly male Aristoteles Ioker with a colour that didn't really look like anything, or maybe he just looked like an albino. I still don't know what colour Ioker was. Ioker was growing really slowly and had such bad health that I actually put him to sleep while he was still quite young. Both his sisters was healthy, though.

The two bottom photos shows Iossa or Ioba or both :-) I truly can't see the difference, and I wrote down"Iossa or Ioba?" when I took the photos...
