The photo shows Aristoteles Ifina and her Ij-litter. I just love silver fawn coloured rats :-)
The mother of the babies was Aristoteles Ifina, and the father Manitou. The litter was born on the 26th of May 1999 and consisted of five babies, plus 4 that was dead at birth. So this litter was born on the same day as my Ii-litter.
One of these babies hurt one of his hindpaws in the cage (I have no clue as to how) but the wound never healed so I had to put him to sleep, which was very sad. Two of the babies harder to tame than my rats commonly are (most are sort of born tame) so I decided against breeding from any member of this litter. These were all silver fawns and my worst litter for many many years, but of course none turned aggressive.
