After the bad experience I had bringing in Finnish rats into my line I went back to breeding from only my own line for a while. This was the first litter in that attempt. The photo shows Aristoteles Ifina and her Ij-litter.
The mother of the babies was Aristoteles Ibella, and the father was Runatun Imax. The litter was born on the 6th of February 1999 and consisted of six babies, one silver fawn, five pale lilacs and one pale lilac agouti berkshire. Their names were Aristoteles Ifina (the silver fawn I kept for myself) Aristoteles Iffi, Aristoteles Ifasto, Aristoteles Ifur, Aristoteles Ifarro (the pale lilac agouti berkshire I kept for myself) and Aristoteles Ifarten.
Ifina had two litters, since she was such a good and nice tempered rat.
Ifina was mated to Manitou, and had a litter of five. The litter was born on the 26th of May 1999, and that was my Ij-litter.
Ifina was mated to Runatun Iami, and had a litter of four. The litter was born on the 17th of August 1999, and that was my Il-litter.
Ifarro was mated to Bonita, and had a litter of eight. The litter was born on the 16th of May 1999, and that was my Ih-litter.
