The mother of the babies was Runatun Amma, and father was Runatun Iami. The litter was born on the 30th of July 1998 and consisted of eight babies, and I kept two for myself Aristoteles Iboss & Aristoteles Ibella. Iboss soon became one of my special favourite rats, but he was too dominant to mate. He soon was the top dog of the cage, but never hurt any of the other rats. Iboss was a large rat, weighing 750 grams.

There were two black based silver fawns and six chocolate based silver fawns in this litter. Three was hooded.

Back when I scanned this photo, a few years back, I didn't know that Iboss was a chocolate based silver fawn (A-bbpp) so it says wrong in the photo. In the photo above he is young but in this photo to the right he is around two years.

Here's a photo of Aristoteles Ibira, a sister to Iboss. Ibira and Iboss had the same colour, but the photos was taken at different light at different times so the colours don't look the same in the photos.

Ibella and her litters

Ibella was a very good rat, so good that I actually mated her three times!

I did mate Aristoteles Ibella with one of my Finnish imports, Toylandin Honka, and that was my Ie-litter.

I stopped breeding from my Finnish imports here since all rats I bred from my Finnish imports turned aggressive sooner or later.

I did mate Aristoteles Ibella with Runatun Imax, and that was my If-litter, a very useful combination.

I was lucky to get a chance and mate Aristoteles Ibella with Runatun Mercurius, he was close to 2 years old by then. That was my Ig-litter.
