Runatun Inka & Runatun Iami, littermates, was born on the 28th of November 1997, and they were both silver fawn rex males. Actually Inka was the black based and Iami the chocolate based version of silver fawn, whitch made it very simple to educate people on how these two different genotypes and phenotypes correlated. In the photo to the right you can see Iami to the right, he is a bit more yellow. The photo is bad, but it is plain to see. They were both extremely gentle rats and wonderful pets. They were also rather big, not as big as Imax, but around 650 grams each.

Inka & Iami was the babies of Runatun Mercurius, and Runatun Pommac (champagne), just as Imax, Edda & Amma were.

Mercurius was the black based version of silver fawn, with blue undercolour and yellow tummy.

Iami's litters

I did mate Iami with Runatun Amma. This was my Ib-litter. The litter was born on the 30th of July 1998 and consisted of eight babies, and I kept two for myself Aristoteles Iboss & Aristoteles Ibella. Iboss soon became one of my special favourite rats, but he was too dominant to mate. He soon was the top dog of the cage, but never hurt any of the other rats.

The I did mate Iami with Toylandin Siphra, and this litter was my Ic-litter. The litter was born on the 26th of August 1998 and consisted of eleven babies. I kept two babies for myself, the prettiest silver fawn rex male, Aristoteles Ici and the prettiest silver fawn rex female, Aristoteles Icindi.

The I did mate Iami with Aristoteles Ifina, and this litter was my Il-litter. The litter was born on the 17th of August 1999 and consisted of four babies. Aristoteles Ilma was a silver fawn hooded, Aristoteles Ilassi and Aristoteles Ilena were silver fawns, and Aristoteles Ilterra was a pale lilac rex.

Iami lived to be 2 years and 2 months old, he died on the 24th of february 2000. He was put to sleep because of respiratory problems.

Inka died on the 8th of December 1999, he had severe respiratory problem that occured acutely, and silently (most rats with respiratory problems can be heard a long way). He was 2 years when he died.
