Toylandin Honka, Toylandin Farao Anubis & Toylandin Siphra was my pretty silver fawns I bought from from Finland. Honka was born on the 21th of December 1997, and Siphra & Farao Anubis were littermates, born in April 1998 (there's no date of birth in their pedigrees, only month and year).
Actually I have my doubts if I did get the correct pedigree for Farao Anubis, since my papers says it was a male, but I received a rex male (Honka) and two smooth females.
All three were very pretty, but not pet rats. I tried to tame Honka, since he seemed to be easier to handle, he was't as nervous as the two females. I liked him a lot, so I really spend time with him, but he refused to be tamed. These rats would not live with my rats without blodshed so I had to house them separately. The Finnish rats attacked my other rats, without pardon. This was worrying since I had always kept all my females together in one cage and all my males together in another. Now I had to have two more cages in my small apartment. As you can see in the picture of Honka he was a massive male with lots of colour.
I was not happy that my pretty Finnsh rats showed such bad temper, but I decided to try to make an effort to bred the bad temper out. I later came to regret that decision.
I did mate Siphra with my male Runatun Iami. Iami had excellent temper and that's why I chose him. They did get a litter of eleven babies, born on the 26th of August 1998. Five of the babies were black based silver fawns and six of the babies were chocolate based silver fawns. This was my Ic-litter. I kept the prettiest silver fawn rex male, Aristoteles Ici for myself and put him in with my other males in the big cage, and I kept the prettiest silver fawn rex female, Aristoteles Icindi for myself and put her in with my other females in the big cage. Ici turned aggressive and started attacking my other males when he grew older so I had to take him out.
I did mate Siphra's son Aristoteles Ici with my bery good female Runatun Amma and got my Id-litter.
Also I did mate Honka with my really good female Aristoteles Ibella ...and that was my Ie-litter.
I stopped breeding from my Finnish imports at this point since all rats I bred from my Finnish imports turned aggressive sooner or later. I also remed the Finnish imports and all their offspring, so I had no rat with their blood in them left in my home.
