Blueberry was a one of several rats I got from a snake owner that had wonderful rats that came originally from Runatun Stud. I got some in February 1999, and the photo shows some of those. The best thing with these rats was their very good temper. Blueberry is the rat baby on top of the rats in the photo.

The rats I got were among others Blueberry, and his German Blue irish sister Bonita. Blueberry was a German Blue based lilac. Blueberry was born the 3rd of January or close to that date. Blueberry was a very gentle rat.
One strange thing about Blueberry and Bonita is that when I got these rats several rat breeders came to my home and they all said that Blueberry and Bonita was not German Blue, instead my black rat Kifuno was said to be a German Blue rat...
The breeders also called Kifuno's colour "Graphite" because that's the supposed Swedish name for German blue, and it was all made up because they didn't know better :-)
I mated BLueberry once, since he had a very good temper. I didn't much like all those black eyed colours his babies got, but they were all nice tempered. Toi the right is a picture of Blueberry walking on an empty cage, the colour does not really look like him, but his sweet face does :-)
Blueberry was mated to Runatun Ulla and had a litter of eight babies on the 26th of May 1999, my Ii-litter.
I mated Bonita twice, she was a nice rat with good temper.
Bonita was mated to Aristoteles Ifarro and had a litter of eight babies on the 16th of May 1999, my Ih-litter.
Bonita was mated to my friend's rat El Toro, that was a Russian Blue rat with beige in the line and whose parents was imported from the US. They had a litter of eight babies on the 28th of July 1999, my Ik-litter.
