Utricularia gibba - bladderwort

It turns out that I also got something that looks like Utricularia, that was embedded in the Riccia, here is a photo of it. It is growing under the Riccia, sort of clinging on to it :-) I have been informed that it is probably Utricularia gibba, a good plant to have if you have baby fish in the aquarium. The Utricularia plants are meat eaters, they catch living things to eat, but they cannot catch any Endler or guppy babies, since those baby fish are way too big for it.

To the right is a photo of one of the bladders on this plant, the bladder is smaller than the eye of an adult Endler. You can see many bladders in the other photo, looking like little light dots...

This plant is not a true floating plant, instead it likes to cling to other plants. I've never seen it on the bottom the aquarium, though :-)
