The Tan Banded Group is based on the tan gene a^t and the banded gene bt. A Tan Banded mouse can be either a^ta^tbtbt or a^tabtbt. When you talk about tan banded mice you mean mice with brown or yellow bellies, and a white band around the body. This might be a strange group to have at shows, but they are decorativem, and our members want to show them. The club is for the members :-)

Siamese Tan Banded - a^ta^tc^hc^hbtbt. Neither Siamese nor Himalaya is able to show red pigment, so a tan Himalaya or Siamese will have a white belly, and look like fox!
