Three different genes, two recessive -
Satin (sa) and Angora (go) -
and one dominant - Rex (Re) - ,
are responsible for the
common coated varieties of the mouse. The
Astrex mouse can have either ReRe or Rere.
The different coat varieties are very
common and popular in Sweden, especially
the Texel and the Satin Texel.

- Texel - gogoReRe. (Texel = longhaired astrex.)
This mouse is Bullefantmus, silver tan texel.
