And now, since I have these wonderful little animals myself, I wrote one booklet myself too. Well, that booklet is in Swedish too. If you need something more than what you can read on my web pages, contact me. I might be able to translate the info in my booklet, and sell a copy in English.
The best you may get is from looking at the library. Check for big books about rodents, like Walker's, Grzimeks and such books. There are other books too, like "The Mammals of the Southern African Subregion" and "Mammal Species of the World". In most of these books they go by their old name Mastomys... otherwise the information you find in these books are correct.
