Here is a siamese coloured gerbil. This gerbil is Tornado's Hampus, and he belongs to a friend of mine. The siamese is supposed to be cream beige with a darker back and greyish black markings.
Here is a burmese coloured gerbil. This gerbil is Goblin's Doris, and she belongs to a friend of mine. The burmese is supposed to be brown grey with a darker back and black markings.
If you compare a siamese gerbil to a burmese gerbil you will find that the siamese have a striking contrast between lighter and darker parts of the coloration. The burmese has more the same colour all over, less contrast.
