Black - aa

No photo. The first gerbils I ever saw were all black, I saw a whole lot of them in the nearest pet shop. Many black gerbils have a small white patch on the chest, but they supposed to be black all over.

Lilac - aapp

Here is a lilac coloured gerbil. The lilac gerbil is supposed to be dark dove grey all over.

Dove - aaCchpp

No photo. The dove gerbil is supposed to be light dove grey all over.

Sapphire - aaCcbpp

No photo. The sapphire gerbil is supposed to be dove grey all over, lighter than lilac and darker than dove.

Saffron - aaeepp

This is my argente nutmeg male, called Aristoteles Jarro. Note his red belly and cheeks compared to the colour of Aristoteles Dinky. This colour is also called argente nutmeg in some countries. I might actually have been the first in Sweden to have this colour (2000).

Slate - aagg

No photo. The slate gerbil is supposed to be blue grey all over.

Blue - aadd

No photo. The blue gerbil is supposed to be blue all over.

Pink Eyed White - chchpp

No photo. The PEW gerbil is supposed to be white all over.

Black Eyed White - cbcheegg

No photo. The BEW gerbil is supposed to be white all over. Black eyes.

Off white - aaggpp

No photo. The off white gerbil is supposed to be pale yellow all over. Dark ruby eyes. Also called Ruby Eyed White in other countries.
