Torticollis or Wry Neck is when the animal is carrying its head in a tilted fashion. This may escalate into a stage where the cavy tries to hold its head upside down, and cannot walk straight. If that happens the cavy is not able to eat and will starve to death rather soon.
Torticollis is not common in cavies, but it can happen. Usually it is caused by an infection in the middle ear and can only be treated by a competent vet.
The cavy in the drawing is in a late state, any tendency in the cavy to hold its head like this should be considered a bad symptom.
Treatment: See a vet immideately!!
