A Merino is a Coronet with wavy fur, actually it is the combination of Texel and Coronet.
All Longhaired Breeds are recognized in any colour and any marking, the colour and/or marking DO NOT have to be in the standards. The Merino Breed is produced by combining the rex gene with the Coronet Breed.
