Lejonhjärtas Eldflugan, called Flugan, was a Lemon Agouti Satin. Flugan was born on the 10th of january 1992. Flugan was the most expensive cavy I have ever bought so far. Flugan means "the fly", and Eldflugan means "the firefly".

Flugan had lots of problems with mycoses. Even though I spent a lot of money at the vets I couldn't really get rid of it.
Flugan lived with the girls in a very big homemade cage.
These 2 pictures was taken on the 25th of March 1994.
In the photo to the left is Flugan and her boyfriend Drutten. Flugan is 2 1/2 yeards old and Drutten is 6 1/2 years old in the photo.
Flugan had one litter with Drutten, and that litter consisted of 3 very pretty satin females. The babies was named Queenie, Sunny & Goldie. I sold Sunny & Goldie, and kept Queenie. Several years later I actually got Sunny back. Queenie looked the same as Flugan, same colour and very much alike, Goldie & Sunny both looked like sunlit gold, hence their names. The photo to the right shows Flugan and her babies Queenie, Sunny & Goldie.
Here's a photo of all my cavies in January 1993, Flugan, Queenie and Haida in the big cage, and Drutten & Cachiri in the smaller, open cage on the floor. Also a close-up of the girls in the big cage, in the photo to the right. It is plain to see that Haida was a much bigger and higher cavy and Flugan & Queenie.
