The story so far...

Last Temptation is a hard rock/metal band from Norrköping, Sweden.
The band was originally in 1999 an idea in the head of Kennet Jansson,
who was at the time playing bass with the band Seven. It was however
not until early 2002 that the idea became reality, when a lineup was
formed with Kennet on guitar and vocals, supported by Roger Svensson on
guitar, Classe Johnson on bass, and Magnus Lind on drums. All members had
played with some of the others in one band or another from the local scene,
and Kennet had already written some songs for the band, so rehearsals began
instantly, and went well. In may 2002 the first live performance took place
at the Evil Cave in Norrköping, and shortly thereafter Last Temptation entered
studio Ljudparken to record their self titled debut album. Just when the recordings
where finished Magnus decided not to remain in the band, due to other pressing engagements.
After this it was a slow fall pursuing a record deal and trying to find a new drummer who
would fit in. In jan 2003 Micael Pihl joined the band on drums after meeting Roger on a party.
Micki turned out to fit right in.

Since no labels had shown any interest in releasing their album the guys decided
to release it on Kennet's label Pregal Records in the summer of 2003. The release
was greated with good reviews for the most part, and was followed by some local gigs.
Though the response to the album was positive over all, the feedback from fans and
press suggested that a new vocalist would bring the band further, and so the band
was somewhat put on ice while searching for the singer that could take Kennet's place
by the microphone. Meanwhile new songs were written and recorded, and since no new
vocalist had appeared by late summer 2004, Last Temptation decided to play a gig with
Kennet singing at Bergsbron, Norrköping, mostly not to loose the edge.
Come 2005, and still no vocalist, so in may another gig was performed at Svea
Skeppet, Norrköping. During the summer of 2005 some talents turned up, and
auditions were held, but none of them was quite what the band was looking for,
until finally in October, when Classe and Kennet ran into a guy who they knew
to be quite the singer in a local music store. At first he was sceptic to having
another band, but after some consideration he agreed to do an audition.
This guy was Lars "Lerta" Palmqvist, and he proved to be the perfect singer for Last Temptation.

In feb 2006 Lerta was first tried on stage at a local MC club, and in the writing
moment we all feel that the future is indeed looking bright, and we look forward
to taking the band to the next level, wherever that may lead us.
