Anders Österberg is a native of Norrköping, originally classically trained 'cello player. Since the mid-70s he has played pieces like e.g. 'Cello concerto by Boccherini.
In the mid-80:s he took an interest in improvised music on the 'Cello as well as the Mandolin, influenced by such diverse sources as early Genesis, Pat Metheny, J.S. Bach and Irish traditional band Planxty, at the same time starting out composing his own tunes.
