The capital of Sweden, and some say of Scandinavia.
A beautiful city with approx 2 million inhabitants, well worth a visit!
It is known as the Venice of the North as it is built on a number of Islands.
Congestion charges similair to London apply for driving in and out of the city
at certain times, and parking can be difficult.
Cars registered in other countires than Sweden do not have to pay congestion
charges.
In the city centre however, there is a well functioning public transport system
with underground and buses.
The currency is Swedish Kroner (Crowns), but in
the city more and more shops accept Euros.
Credit cards are very widely accepted.
