I drove this car on a daily basis for a couple of years.
Even att high (autobahn) speeds the car was
stable.
The small head lights are rather poor, as is the case with many modern Japanese
cars.
The 5 door has less head room in the rear compared to the 4 door, but it does
look much nicer with an integraded spoiler on the rear hatch. The front seats
are fairly comfortable and offer good side support when cornering hard.
The front speaker are a 2 way system in the doors with seperate tweeters and do
sound quite good with a decent head unit.
The car uses a rather unusual tyre dimension which is often not kept in stock,
but the car does benefit from good tires like Bridgestone Potenza.
A likeable well equiped (this one was a special edition Solomon Blue)
comfortable, quiet car.
Performance was not stunning, but ok. Fuel economy was quite good.
I was personally involved as a passenger in a "crash test" with the
previous generation of 626, and as I am still here to write about it, saftey
canīt be that bad.
