- The door seal design is of such a nature that it easily becomes damp and freezes solid when cold. Lubricate the seals with silicone based products before a cold winter.
- The generator belt also powers the water pump. If the warning light for charging the battery comes on, there may also be a risk of overheating soon!
- Some cars had a manufacturing error on the cam belt tentioner. There was a recall on this. Check with an authorised Mazda dealer if this has been done on your car.
- Be carefull when load and unloading the boot as the painted rear bumber scratches easily.
