The revolutionary all-new 8th generation Honda Civic "spaceship" for Europe (not the same as the US or Japanese versions, although some parts and systems are shared) was launched in 2006.

The newly designed 1,8 engine with Honda´s i-VTEC technology produces 140 hp.
The i-VTEC technology engine features both variable cam-shafts and variable length air-intakes, to produce 2-litre performance at 1,6 litre fuel consumption.
