B200K engine, M47 gearbox
White with blue interior.
It had the front windscreen from a GL model (upper tint),
Volvo´s Corona style alloys, 100% rear tints, Blaupunkt CD player and
5,25" Alpine front co-axial speakers and a dashtop rev-counter by the
A-pillar.
An electrical engine pre-heater and cabin pre-heater were fitted.

Only real problem with this car was rust in the floors
and the lower area behind the rear wheels.
Both these required welding while I had the car.
Also the lower edge of the doors and boot lid rusted, but this was more cosmetic.
The Volvo 240 series was launched in 1974 as a
succesor to the 140 series.
It did however share a number of mechanical parts with the 140.
The 240 series was produced until 1993.
