Light brown with brown interior and brown rust.
A fixed towbar was fitted on this car.

Black strap to keep the battery in place, a large can of ATF oil in the boot to get the oil dampened Stromberg carberutteur running and a big screwdriver in the glovebox to turn the idle speed back to normal after any motorway trip.

The Volvo 240 series was launched in 1974 as a succesor to the 140 series.
It did however share a number of mechanical parts with the 140.
1981 was the first year with this "face lift" front.
The 240 series was produced until 1993.
